RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Using special software, Internet users can subscribe to websites that provide RSS feeds. RSS software typically displays new articles in a list of one line links to the actual article or post. By viewing these lists a user can keep up to date on websites that change their content frequently without actually viewing the website in a browser. Mozilla Firefox is a free software web browser that can display feeds as bookmark folders called live bookmarks. More detailed information on RSS can be found here.
